Shallot Jam

If you’re looking for a milder version of caramelized onions with a unique twist, this shallot jam may become your favorite addition to burgers, sandwiches, or eggs. Shallot Jam
Ingredients
- 1 lb Fresh Shallots
- 2 Tablespoons White Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil (Can Substitute with Olive Oil)
Let’s Create.
- Add thinly sliced shallot to the pan with a small amount of grapeseed oil. Slowly sauté until fully caramelized. ~25-30 minutes
- Stir in sugar and soy sauce. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!
