Caper Vinaigrette
Capers are a great salty, slightly tangy addition to classic dishes such as chicken piccata or your favorite braised fish. Try this caper vinaigrette to add of a tiny burst of flavor to your favorite salad.
Caper Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Olive Oil
- 2/3 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 3 Fresh Garlic Cloves- Grated
- 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 3 Tablespoons Capers, Drained
Let’s Create.
- Optional: Add capers to a mortar and roughly grind with pestle. The addition of whole capers is fine also.
- Whisk Dijon mustard with apple cider vinegar. Add salt, pepper, and freshly grated garlic.
- While whisking, slowly add olive oil to the mixture. Keep refrigerated. Enjoy!
